  • Only BACS payments can be accepted. The House has no facility to accept credit card payments. A single invoice will be raised to the Company or Host booking the stay. Individual invoices to guests cannot unfortunately be raised.
     

  • The house is only reserved once half payment and deposit is received.
     

  • Coombe End Estate accepts no liability for the safe keeping of any possessions. Customers are required to ensure that their property is adequately insured against theft and/or damage.
     

  • 1 dog is permitted in the house
     

  • A no smoking policy is operated on all first/second/third floor areas and guests are not permitted to smoke in the bedrooms. Guests may only smoke in the ground floor rooms.
     

  • Guests are required to note that an inventory is maintained for all rooms and any breakages, missing items or damage (that extends beyond fair wear and tear) shall be charged as an addition on the final invoice.
     

  • The last guest to bed must be responsible for locking the house at the end of the evening.
     

  • Both housekeepers shall have two days off a week – never at the same time: working hours are 8 am to 5 pm with a one hour break for lunch. There shall be an additional charge for house-keeping over the weekends. Specific duties shall be discussed directly with them and are conducted at their discretion.
     

  • Any “activities” organized by the Estate are done so entirely at the licensee’s or their guest’s risk. The Estate insurance shall not be involved in any loss or damages.
     

  • Guests use the swimming pool entirely at their own risk and under no circumstances should children be allowed to swim unsupervised. No running or diving is allowed. 
     

  • The Estate Office must be informed in advance of every visitor that attends the house. This must be conducted before their arrival.
     

  • Guests may only enjoy access to the areas at the front of the house (areas to the left of the red line as depicted below). Any deviation from this requires prior consent from the Estate office.
     

  • All areas at the rear of the house are strictly out of bounds.
